The routes Paris-Berlin and Paris-Vienna are among the most popular for Erasmus+ higher education students who are travelling green, i.e., by train, bus, bike, or carpooling, or a combination of these means (EUF). Despite the considerable distance between these cities, this behaviour can be explained in part by the connectivity options that are not at risk.
Travelling Green on the Way to EAIE

An essential element of the SET project is the student survey. It will help us to better understand the experiences and expectations of former and future Erasmus students. Green transportation modes in numbers
Between 2021-2023, the 20 most popular flows that were realised with a green transportation mode, i.e. not by plane, represented 3.418 student mobilities. Exploring travel habits and analysing data will bring us closer to making mobility sustainable through greener travel modes.
