Registrations are now open for the first Higher Education Transformation Week (HET Week), taking place in Brussels from 12–16 October 2026.
Powered by more than 40 Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership consortia, the week will showcase innovative practices, project results, and emerging approaches shaping the future of higher education.
Open to higher education professionals, institutional staff, policymakers, student representatives, and anyone interested in the future of higher education, HET Week offers a unique opportunity to connect with project teams, exchange ideas, and gain insights into the transformative impact of European cooperation in higher education.
On Thursday, 15th October, between 9:00 and 12:30, you are invited to join a workshop on “How can IROs support green travel?” It will take place at the EUF office, Rue d’Egmont/Egmontstraat 13, 1000 Brussels. This session is more than a crash course on green mobility; it’s a solution-oriented, experience-based workshop on embedding green practices into your daily operations in meaningful ways. Concretely, there are several learning outcomes:
- Understand the environmental impact of travelling and learn how to incentivise and encourage responsible behaviours;
- Discover existing tools and resources to promote and plan sustainable travel, useful for both students and staff members;
- Explore how sustainable travel cultivates transversal competences and responsible attitudes;
- Discuss flexible options for universities and employers to visualise and validate the green competencies of former exchange students;
- Facilitate the inclusion of green practices in student mobility planning; and
- Help universities meet their environmental targets by reducing the carbon footprint related to internationalisation.
Explore the programme and secure your place by registering by the 18th of September!
