The SET project consortium is excited to announce the launch of the Sustainable Erasmus+ Journey Contest!
What is it all about? The contest wants to encourage students to choose environmentally friendly travel as part of their Erasmus+ mobility. It is open to higher education students going abroad for studies or traineeships during the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, choosing green travel options to reach their destination. Whether travelling by train, bus, bicycle, carpooling, or a combination of low-emissions options, participants can turn their travel into a meaningful, environmentally conscious experience.
The contest offers students the chance to become Sustainable Erasmus+ Travel Storytellers, sharing their journeys and reflections through testimonials, blog posts and social media. The objective is to show how students can make the journey itself a valuable and enriching part of the Erasmus+ experience by considering sustainability when planning their mobility. As part of the reward, six students will be selected to receive up to €625 for their green storytelling!
The SET project consortium is committed to sustainability and inclusion, with special consideration given to students from fewer opportunities backgrounds as part of the contest.
Know a student who would love to participate? Share this opportunity to support sustainable and inclusive mobility!
